Johny Dar was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on 17th April, 1978. Growing up, he nurtured dreams of becoming a filmmaker, convinced from an early age that he had a vision to share. Discovering his talent for design, he moved from New York to Los Angeles in 1997 to study fashion. Dar launched his first fashion label ‘Johny Wonder’ in 1999 and has been producing timeless collections ever since. Dar quickly captivated the fashion scene with his avant-garde collections, which were stocked up by top retailers and shown alongside established designers by the time he graduated.

He dressed Pink, Shakira, Nelly Furtado, and Brooke Burke among others, and drew celebrities including Naomi Campbell, Puff Daddy, Bill Mayor and Pamela Anderson to his shows. But Dar turned his back upon his budding fashion career in 2002, leaving LA to seek new experiences and explore the world. Dar’s art pioneers a new form of expression through illustration, design, body art, fashion, multimedia and music.



Irrfan Khan is an Indian actor known for his roles in several Bollywood movies, British films and Hollywood blockbusters. Film critics, contemporaries and other experts consider him to be one of the finest actors in Indian cinema for his versatile and nuanced performances.

Irrfan has acted in over 50 Indian films in Bollywood, as well as some of Hollywood’s big budget movies like the Life of Pi and Jurassic World. He also features in a meaty role alongside Tom Hanks in the 2016 adaptation of Dan Brown's novel Inferno. In September 2015, he was appointed as the brand ambassador for ‘Resurgent Rajasthan’, a campaign by the state government of Rajasthan, India. He has won several awards in his illustrious career. He also won the National Film Award for Best Actor for his powerful performance in Paan Singh Tomar.



‘Welcome Back’ movie was shot extensively at the store in Dubai Gold Souk, Deira. This was the first Bollywood movie to be shot at the Dubai Gold Souq. Bollywood artists Anil Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia charmed the crowd and interacted with them post the shoot.

‘Welcome Back’ is a Bollywood comedy movie directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Firoz Nadiadwala, a sequel to the 2007 comedy ‘Welcome’ and features an ensemble cast that included Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor re-enacting their roles respectively from the prequel, along with Paresh Rawal. John Abraham and Shruti Haasan.



Michael Roach wanted to contribute towards the refugees in India, and so he founded a company in Manhattan called the Andin International Diamond Corporation. The firm was started with a small loan, and eventually became one of the fastest-growing companies in the history of New York City. It reached $250 million dollars in annual sales, and in 2009 was purchased by finance wizard Warren Buffett.

Michael grew up in the United States, and graduated with honors from Princeton University. He has received the Presidential Scholar Medal at the White House, from the President of the United States. He spent 25 years in a traditional monastery, and is the first American in 600 years to be awarded the title of Geshe, or Master. He has served as a consultant and board member for a number of different organizations and government agencies, ranging from the United States Library of Congress to the Russian Academy of Sciences. Michael is fluent in a number of Asian and other languages.



Gulshan Grover one of India’s leading actors has acted in over 400 films during the last 3 decades. After having acted in hundreds of films Gulshan expanded his craft into Hollywood, with films like ‘The Second Jungle Book: Mowgli & Baloo’, produced by Columbia Tristar, ‘Beeper’ co-starring with Harvey Keitel and ‘Rose and Marguerite’, Les mystères de Sadjurah (French & German). Gulshan is one of the first Bollywood actors to have made a successful transition from Bollywood to Hollywood and international Cinema.

Over the years Grover has acted with leading actors such as Amitabh Bachchan, Sharukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Rajnikanth and Kamal Hassan and several other leading artists. He has also bagged several awards including the ‘National Award’ for the ‘Best Supporting Actor’ for the movie ‘I Am Kalam’. Gulshan Grover also won the ‘Best Actor International’ at New York City Film Festival & Houston Film Festival, for his performance in the film 'Desperate Endeavours'. He is currently working in an upcoming Hollywood movie called ‘The Driver’, where Salma Hayek plays the role of his wife.



Adel Farooq is a natural actor and sings fluently in Hindi and Urdu; he aims to be the first Emirati artist to be become part of Bollywood. He recently acted in a hit Hindi-language television drama and has also produced several Hindi music albums. Named as one of the most unique entertainers in the UAE, Adel Farooq can also sing in Punjabi and English. He was also the Vice-captain of UAE cricket team few years ago.

Adel played the role of a lead villain in the top rated Hindi television series ‘Parwaaz’ and thereby entered the television scene late last year. This was a hit thirteen-episode drama shown on Zee TV Middle East and Express Pakistan and it was being aired in India as well. Adel didn’t just portray the role of the main antagonist but he also sang the drama’s official soundtrack.

White Water PR Dubai was chosen by Johny Dar, for his ‘Jeans for Refugees’ project. This is a unique fundraising initiative dedicated to helping refugees across the world with all proceeds going to going to the International Rescue Committee (rescue.org).White Water PR has promoted this unique initiative across the region to support the lives of refugees across the globe. The Dubai based PR firm has consulted several multi-billion dollar global and local brands but this was an initiative that was very close to our hearts.



Sunil Shetty made his debut in 1992 with Balwaan (1992), which was not a major hit. Yet his great acting skills got noticed. His intense acting abilities in patriotic movie like Border, Refugee, Qayamat: City Under Threat and LOC: Kargil (2003) were critically applauded.

Throughout his career that spanned fifteen long years, he had acted in over 100 movies - most of them being action oriented movies. Shetty also proved his acting abilities by donning various characters from villainous ones to innocent to serious and comical ones. Shetty set up a production company called Popcorn Motion Pictures Ltd. and has produced several movies.
